3571192 - Assigning Business Catalog for Balance Carryforward Template Usage in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

The issue arises when attempting to use the "Balance Carryforward-SAP_FIN_CS_BAL_CARRYFORWARD" template in the "Application Jobs" app. There is uncertainty about which business catalog should be assigned to the user in order to view the "SAP_FIN_CS_BAL_CARRYFORWARD" template.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the "Application Jobs" app.
  2. Attempt to select the "Balance Carryforward-SAP_FIN_CS_BAL_CARRYFORWARD" template.
  3. Click on the Search button.
  4. A message appears: "No data found".

Cause

Resolution

  1. Open the 'Maintain Business Users' app.
  2. Add the role 'SAP_BR_GL_ACCOUNTANT_GRP' to the user.
  3. Save the changes.
  4. Open the 'Application Job' app.
  5. The Balance Carryforward Template should now be visible.
