3571306 - SAC : Cannot merge cells in table

• It is impossible to merge empty cells from table
  

• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 

• As design product behavior, we can merge only custom cells with empty cells.
• The cells from table with data look like "empty" cells but they are not really 'empty'.
• If we select the Context Menu of the table, then select "Show/Hide > Members Names > "Repeatitive Member Names" option, then it shows them as 'empty' but in fact they have a value.
  

Thus, we can merge only custom cells with real empty cells.
