3571435 - Incorrect Response to Comparison Queries in SAC Just Ask

• The comparison queries in SAC Just Ask are processed incorrectly.
• The comparison works as a sum when 'vs' or 'compare to' is used.
• This issue is observed across multiple models, including the Sales_Sample model.

• SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) 2025 Enterprise
• SAC Just Ask

1. Logon to the tenant.
2. Open Just Ask.
3. Select the indexed model.
4. Ask comparison question.
5. Example of question: Sales by State in 2023 compared 2024; Sales in 2023 compared 2024; Sales in 2023 vs 2024; compare Sales in 2023 vs 2024.

• The variance in Just Ask currently covers the following use cases comparison options:
  • Previous Period
  • Previous Year
  • Previous Half Year
  • Previous Quarter
  • Previous Month
  • Previous Week
• The queries provided are not successful due to these limitations.

• It's on the roadmap to also support different time comparisons, as in the queries, and the development team is working on it. However, there is currently no timeline for its availability.
