3571507 - Inability to Block or Delete Released Planning Model

There is no option to block or delete a released planning model.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Navigate to work center Planning and Production Master Data, select view Production Models.
2. Select a production model, click Open Released Planning Model.
3. Observe that there is no option to block or delete this planning model in the screen.

The system does not allow blocking or deleting any released planning model.

To avoid a version of a planning model being used: Release the production model for planning to create a new version of the planning model. The system will only use the latest version of the planning model, therefore the previous version won't be used.

To avoid any version (even latest version) of a planning model being used: Go to work center Planning and Production Master Data, access view Source Determination, search related product ID, click Change Source of Supply Priority, set lowest priority for the planning model.
