Symptom

You are encountering following error messages when using the SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud, specifically when attempting to perform actions involving external hooks:

  •  Error: Error while parsing response data for pre-hook external hook in XYZ. Contact your administrator with log ID.

When analyzing Logs into the Extensibility Administration, you can see following error:

  • Error raised from the connector service: outbound-data-connector.104 Communication system used in the communication configuration for the outbound synchronous message is inactive..
