3571723 - Description is Entered When using Paste function in Sales Quote/Sales Order

Description value is entered in the Description field of Product in Sales Quote/Sales Order when you use Paste functionality, even though you do not copy any description from the supported data.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Sales work center
2. Go to the Sales Quotes/Sales Orders work center view
3. Open a Sales Quote/Sales Order
4. Go to the Products facet
5. Click the Paste icon
6. Copy some values from the supported data, such as Excel (e.g. Description has no value [empty])
7. Paste the values
8. Check the Description field

Result: There is a value (e.g. Mobile Phone) even though you do not copy any value for Description

• Product name is entered automatically if you paste no Description value (Empty value).
• This is the standard behavior of the system.
