3571877 - Intermittent connection issues when using OAuth2 Authentication for integrations relying on CL_HTTP_CLIENT

Symptom

Sporadic connection issues are experienced when using RFC connections with OAuth2 authentication.

Integrations that rely on them may present a message or HTTP return code similar to the following:

  • "HTTP client could not be created"
  • 401 Unauthorized

This may also occur if a proxy has been configured in the RFC / OAuth2 Client.
