Symptom
When using latest goal management, the value of "numbering" is not correct in goal domain report.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Goal Management
Reproducing the Issue
- In latest goal management, create a goal under a category, for example, under the first category.
- Create a goal domain report, and check the value under the column "numbering".
- If it is the first created goal under the category, the "numbering" would show "1.1".
- Now change the goal to another category, for example, the third category. Ideally the value of "numbering" should change to "3.1", as the goal is now under the third category.
- Check the "numbering" value in the report. It still shows "1.1".
- The issue does not occur in report with legacy goal management.
Resolution
This is current reporting limitation with latest goal management.
In the latest goal management, goal numbering is not supported. As a result, the "numbering" value in the report does not update to reflect changes in goals.
Workaround
No workaround is available, as this is a limitation with unsupported features in latest goal management. To avoid user confusion, do not use the column "numbering" in goal domain report if latest goal management is used.
