3572218 - RECETM240 - one-time conditions with validity in transit. period not allowed - SAP S/4HANA CLOUD

When setting valuation parameters to complete in App: "Manage Contract", error message RECETM240 - "one time conditions with validity in transit. period not allowed" is thrown.

The automatic split of cash flow items of conditions that are relevant for the valuation and intersected by the effective start of the valuation into an operating lease share and a new RoU share is performed only for periodic conditions as described in SAP Note 2255555.

One-time conditions have to be adjusted manually so that the calculation period is not intersected by the effective start of the valuation.

You can see below in the Conditions tab that for Condition Purpose "B One-Time Actual Rent," the validity is from 01.01.2024 to 30.06.2024, and the Start of Consideration on the Valuation Parameters Tab is 01.02.2024.

This is not allowed.

There are several scenarios possible for one-time conditions, as you can see below:

1 - One-time condition is not relevant for valuation and due date is before the valuation start.

The validity of the condition should be adjusted to end before the valuation start (for example 01.01.2024-31.01.2024, due date 01.01.2024).

2 - One-time condition is fully relevant for the valuation and due date is after the valuation start.

The validity of the condition should be adjusted to start earliest with the valuation start (for example 01.02.2024-30.06.2024, due date 30.06.2024).

3 - The one-time condition is intersected by the valuation start.

The condition has to be split up into 2 conditions:

A) 01.01.2024-31.01.2024 with the share before the valuation start

B) 01.02.2024-30.06.2024 with the share after the valuation start
