Symptom

  • A discrepancy was observed in the professional tax amount calculation in the SAP ERP system.
  • Professional tax amount is not reflecting as per the Madhya Pradesh slab rates 
  • PTAX deducted Rs 17 instead of 204 even though SLAB maintained as below
