3572419 - Rehire Candidates Assigned to Incorrect Responsible User for First Rehire Check - Onboarding

Rehire candidates are not assigned to the correct responsible user for the first rehire check after initiation from Recruiting Management (RCM). Instead of being assigned to the required role, they are assigned to the Rehire Coordinator group under Dynamic Groups.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. A business rule is configured under the scenario "Assign Responsible Group for Onboarding Rehire Check."
2. The business rule is maintained in Manage Data > Onboarding Configuration > Default.
3. The selected group in the business rule has the role "Employee HR" assigned.
4. The value is passed from Recruiting via the jobRelationship 'relationship-type' field.
5. The field in Manage Business Configuration has the data type Picklist, with the picklist selected as jobRelType.
6. Despite this configuration, rehires are still assigned to the Rehire Coordinator group of Dynamic Groups instead of the expected HR role.

This behavior is due to a current system limitation. The system does not support using roles for the first rehire check that occurs before the onboarding process is created.

Since the system does not support roles for the first rehire check, we recommend configuring the first rehire check using responsible groups, as this configuration is supported at this stage. Once the first rehire check is completed, you can proceed with the second rehire check using roles. This approach ensures a seamless process while meeting your business requirements.
