3572511 - Work processes are hanging at On Hold and RFC Response in SLT~ODP scenario

Symptom

  • Transaction SM66 shows that all batch jobs which are active, have the WP Status = "On Hold" and the Information "RFC Response"
  • Active WPs are running with program RSBATCH_EXECUTE_PROZESS
  • DTPs are started by streaming process chain to load table data from SLT system
  • In SLT system, the ODP-demon job log looks abnormal:

It shows more than 100% (even to 5.800%) every 15s. Normally a notification call should be done every 15s in BW system however it takes 900s and more.
