Symptom

  • Sudden failure in SUSE clustering in a high availability environment.
  • Two servers, <HANA Server 1> and <hana server 2>, were working in high availability HANA system replication mode, with Server 1 as the primary site.
  • Server 1 unexpectedly failed and was removed from the cluster.
  • After a restart, the cluster failed.
  • The system is operating on the secondary site (Server 2), a failback decision is pending root cause analysis of server 1 (primary site) failure.
