3572901 - Candidate Skipped MPH Completion and Became Active in EC Despite Ready to Hire Status - Onboarding

A candidate skipped Manage Pending Hires (MPH) completion and became active in Employee Central (EC) even though they had a "Ready to Hire" status in Onboarding.

This issue occurs for Legal Entity Transfer candidates when their start date is reached while MPH is not yet completed.

On the termination date, the older profile will become inactive. Once the candidate's onboarding is completed and the start date is reached, the new employment will be active. Therefore, customers must ensure that MPH is completed before the candidate's start date. More information: 3324947 - Rehire with Legal Entity Transfer - Onboarding - SAP for Me 

To correct this issue for in-flight candidates, please open a ticket with SAP Support as a script will be required. Provide the following details:

• Company ID
• Support Access
• Candidate ID
• Approval to proceed with the following script execution: ONB_HIRE_STATUS = 'HIRED' & EMP_EMPLOYMENT_INFO SET HIRING_NOT_COMPLETED = 0

This will ensure that the candidate’s HiringNotCompleted flag is set to "No" and resolve the issue for affected candidates.
