3572910 - Error VLA307 is issued while posting partial goods receipt by transaction MIGO in upgraded SAP S/4HANA

Symptom

  • Following an system upgrade, partial goods receipt by MIGO tcode is not functioning as expected.
  • The error message "VLA307 - Putaway Quantity can not be less than GR posted quantity" is displayed when attempting to create a goods receipt for the remaining quantity.
