Symptom

  • An issue arises during the creation of a Request for Quotation (RFQ) in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
  • The error message displayed is "sender email address can't be initial".

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Attempt to create an RFQ in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
  2. Encounter the error message "sender email address can't be initial".

Cause

The sender email address is taken from the email address of the purchasing group.

Resolution

Maintain a default email address for the purchasing group in Activity 'Create Purchasing Groups' (SSCUI 102914).
