3572964 - Sales Quote Missing in Leads tab Despite being Present in Document Flow

There is an Object, for example Lead, which have different documents linked to it. In Document Flow tab, it is showing the related documents linked to it, before and after the Lead. The Lead has, for example, Tickets, Task and Sales Quote in the flow. However, when going to Sales Quote tab inside the Lead, the related Sales Quote is not displayed there even though it exists in the flow.

This scenario applies to any other object or sales document that has the Document Flow tab.

SAP Cloud for Customer

Example scenario:

1. Go to Sales > Leads.
2. Open a Lead.
3. Go to Document Flow tab.
4. See there is Sales Quote "123" (where 123 represents the number ID).
5. Now go to Sales Quote tab.
6. There is no Sales Quote there.

The document (in this case Sales Quote) will not show in the Sales Quote tab for the related Lead, as this Quote was not directly created from the Lead. The Sales Quote is linked to a Ticket which is then linked to the Lead.

Therefore, only documents directly linked to it (directly created or manually assigned in the Related Items tab) will be shown in the respective tab for the business object in question.

For example, if the Sales Quote was created as follows:

1. Lead > Sales Quote tab.
2. Click on New.
3. Fill the fields and save.

It would be displaying in the Sales Quote tab.

But if the problem was with Sales Quote not showing for a Ticket, then it would be displaying in the Sales Quote tab inside Tickets, if the Quote was created or linked in below ways:

1. Lead > Tickets tab.
2. Click on New.
3. Fill the fields and save.

OR

1. Ticket > Related Items tab.
2. Follow-up Items section > More > Add Follow-up Item.
3. Select Sales Quote and paste the ID there.
4. Save.

This is the expected system behavior.
