3573022 - KPI tiles with errors in Fiori Launchpad | SAP S/4HANA Cloud

• You're getting "Cannot load tile" error in Analytical/KPI Tiles in Fiori Launchpad.
• You're trying to open a KPI tile and is getting the error "'DBSQL_SQL_INTERNAL_DB_ERROR'. The OData request processing has been abnormally terminated. Analyze the runtime error using Feed Reader in ABAP development tools for Eclipse or using transaction /IWFND/ERROR_LOG or /IWBEP/ERROR_LOG or ST22. Create a support ticket on the application component of the OData service for errors in services delivered by SAP."
• The currency/unit conversion error is appearing when trying to open a KPI tile.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open Fiori Launchpad
2. Check or try to open the tiles (Example: Overdue Receivables app, Days Sales Outstanding app...)

The issue is being caused due to a Currency/Unit Conversion Error.

Those analytical apps use some currencies as default, they are usually EUR or USD.

The issue is triggered when you're running the report using a currency that in your system there's no currency conversion configured. 

You can find the default currency for the KPI by following the steps below:

1. Go to Manage KPIs and Reports app
2. Under "KPIs" tab, search for the title of the KPI 
3. Open it
4. Scroll until the "KPI" tab
5. Click on the KPI 
6. Under "Input Parameters" you'll see that there's a row with the dimension "Display Currency --- equal to ---- XXX" 

This currency is being set as default in your KPI.

If you want to keep the display currency as default, you'll need to maintain the related exchange rate in the 'Maintain Exchange Rates' app.

If you want to change the default currency, follow the steps below:

1. In the Manage KPIs and Reports app, under KPIs tab, search for the title of the KPI 
2. Open it 
3. Scroll until the "KPI" tab
4. Click on the KPI 
5. Click on "Edit" 
6. Change the Display Currency value
7. Save it 

Please note that this has to be done in the source system of your System Landscape. If you have a 2-System Landscape, you have to do this in Test System. If you have a 3-System Landscape, you have to do this in Customizing Tenant.

Then, you have to transport the changes using Export Software Collection app.

You have to include the KPI ID inside the Software Collection. You can find this ID in the KPI details page. 

Example: Overdue Receivables KPI - ID: .SAP.FI.AR.OVERDUERECEIVABLES.TODAY 

You have to include this ID in the Software Collection and transport it between the systems.
