3573372 - Cannot preview any data from CDS views in Public Cloud after an upgrade to release 2502

The data preview function for CDS views in Eclipse / ADT / HANA Studio is not working after an upgrade to Public Cloud release 2502, and shows the following error message:

"The use of element XXXXX of CDS entity YYYYY is not permitted"

S/4HANA Public Cloud 2502

1. Logon to Public Cloud release 2502
2. Open a CDS view
3. Error will be shown

Some customers were chosen for an Emergency Patch of this fix due to the urgency of the issue. This fix was applied over the weekend of Feb. 22nd-23rd. 

In any other case, the bug fix will be available as part of Hotfix Collection 5. It is expected to be applied on March 1st-2nd. This KBA will be updated accordingly.

For the time being, if the issue persists, the following workarounds are available:

1. Create a Service Definition + Service Binding (OData UI) on top of the view and use the Service Binding preview to view the data.
2. The ideal situation would be, that the user accessing ADT is not provided with Key-User roles. Separating Key-User roles from that of accessing and using ADT will allow the user to view the data in Data Preview tool.
