3573377 - Unable to View History Log of Permission Roles in SAP SuccessFactors

Symptom

  • In SAP SuccessFactors the history log of permission roles is not visible
  • When attempting to view the history of this role, the system displays "No data"

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to "Manage Permission Roles" page
  2. Search for the permission role affected
  3. Click on "View History"
  4. The system displays "No data", indicating that all past permission creation, update and changes logs are missing

Resolution

Engineering team has confirmed that the logs are cleared every 6 months. Therefore, only the logs from the last 6 months are accessible, any history from before, will show "No data" on the history of the tool.
