3573391 - Application server ABAP takes long time to start up.

Symptom

The Application server is in status started.

In the dispatcher trace file (dev_disp) there are several messages like:

*** WARNING => DpRequestProcessingCheck: potential request processing problem detected (<nr>. check) [dpxxwp.c     4417]

In the server snapshot generated by the system or triggered manually following KBA 3122914 - The step-by-step guide to collect a server snapshot and analyze it with kernel snapshot analyzer:

  • the work processes are in status "WP_NEW"

  • in the work process trace file (dev_w*) the C-stack shows:
