Symptom

  • Error: 'RFC_START_SAPGUI_FAILURE Communication with SAPGUI timed out'
  • When opening, or saving a report to the SAP BW System from Crystal Reports, it fails.
  • When attempting to create a report based on an SAP BW Query using the SAP menu in Crystal Reports, it fails with the error: 
       
     "SAP Logon Control
       RFC_START_SAPGUI_FAILURE
       Communication with SAPGUI timed out"
