3573597 - VIES Check Failure in New Fiori Apps

Symptom

  • The VIES check fails when set to "Warning" in the new Fiori apps (Manage Customer Master data, Manage Supplier Master data, Manage Business Partner data).
  • The VIES check only works when set to "Error".
  • The issue does not occur with the old GUI app "Maintain Business Partner".

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Set up the VIES check in the system.
  2. Set the VIES check failed message as "Warning".
  3. Attempt to use the VIES check in the new Fiori apps.

Resolution

The standard behavior of the Fiori apps is to display only error messages and not warning messages. Therefore, when the VIES check is set to "Warning", the message is not displayed in the applications.
