3573599 - Error in Purchase Order Approval Due to Attachment Size Limit

• An error message "Attachments to be sent via email channel has size greater than 20MB" is displayed while trying to approve a Purchase Order (PO).

1. Navigate to the Managing My Area work center.
2. Choose Approvals view.
3. Select the required PO ID
4. Approve the PO.
5. System throws an error: "Attachments to be sent via Email Channel has size greater than 20 MB".

The maximum attachment size for outputs sent to the Supplier is 20 MB (created output and changed outputs). Only attachments with the type "standard" are sent to the supplier by default, while others are not included.

1. Request the approver to send the PO for revision via Send for revision.
2. Instruct the creator of the Purchase order to follow these steps before ordering any purchase orders or changing existing purchase orders and then send an update:
3. Go to the Purchase Request and Orders Work Center.
4. Access the Purchase Orders View.
5. Search for Purchase Order and select the View All button.
6. In the top right corner, select the You Can Also Button.
7. Select the option for Change PO.
8. Navigate to the Attachments Tab and remove the unnecessary attachments or those exceeding the 20 MB limit.
9. Ensure the total size of all attachments used in all outputs created and sent to the supplier successfully under the output history tab does not exceed 20 MB.
10. Go to the item level attachment tab of each item as well as the header level attachment tab and either delete the unnecessary attachments or delete and then re-upload the attachments with type Internal.
11. Finally, send an update.
