Symptom
- When a candidate is offboarded, the termination date in Offboarding is expected to match the "Relieving Date" or "Last Working Day" from Employment Details in Employee Central (EC).
- However, after the 2H 2024 release, if a manager updates the relieving date after offboarding has started, the new date appears in Offboarding with an additional one-day offset.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding
Reproducing the Issue
- Terminate a candidate in Employee Central, triggering Offboarding.
- Ensure the candidate appears in the Offboarding Dashboard.
- In EC, update the candidate’s "Last Working Day" or "Relieving Date" to i.e. December, 1st.
- Check Offboarding – the new date appears, but with an additional one-day offset, i.e. December, 2nd.
Cause
- This is a known issue. When the termination date is corrected in Job Information history, EC sends the inactiveDate (termination date +1) to Offboarding.
- Offboarding should process the date as termination date -1 but is not currently handling it correctly.
Resolution
- The issue will be fixed in the 2H 2505 release under fix number OBX-37558.
- For further assistance on current status, you can consult your Account Executive or Customer Engagement Executive with reference to OBX-37558.
