3574152 - Not Possible to Disable "Recent Searches" Feature From Object List Screen

When working on any object list view, a popup showing the recent searches appears when the user clicks on the search box.

SAP Business ByDesign

The Resource Search view will be used as an example for the steps below:

1. Go to the Resource Management work center.
2. Enter the Resource Search view.
3. On the top-right of the screen, to the side of the queries dropdown list, click on the search textbox.
4. Here, the popup with recent searches appear.

This feature was added with the 2502 version of SAP Business ByDesign, and it is currently not possible to disable it.

The system works as expected.
