3574184 - Indefinitely loading issue when editing/creating RBP via Manage Permission Role

• When attempting to edit and/or create a permission role via Manage Permission Roles in SuccessFactors instances, the system keeps loading indefinitely without completing the action.
• This issue persists across different machines and browsers.

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

1. Access the Manage Permission Roles in SuccessFactors.
2. Select the permission to be edited OR try to create a new permission role.
3. Observe the system remains in a continuous loading state and does not complete the process.

This issue is caused by an invalid MDF permissions error. When the internal code is null in the MDF object cache, the create/edit role page freezes, leading to customer confusion.

If this behavior persists, please contact SAP Product Support team under the component LOD-SF-MDF-OBJ.

An enhancement in the system is planned to be included in the version 2505 release - Product Release and Road Map Information | SAP SuccessFactors | SAP Community :

• Preview instances - 14th April
• Production instances - 16th May

After that, when users create or edit a role, they will see a specific error message, as shown in the image below:

NOTE: Currently, there is no error message - the page simply keeps loading indefinitely. This will be the enhancement. It will still be necessary to open a ticket with SAP Support.
