3574628 - Error "Aggregation rules violated" when creating outbound delivery by combining sales orders

Symptom

Error "Aggregation rules violated" is encountered when attempting to create one outbound delivery by combining a regular sales order and an intercompany sales order.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to the Outbound Logistics work center.
  2. Go to the Delivery Proposals view.
  3. Select Sales Orders ID ABC and DEF. (ABC and DEF means Sales Order ID)
  4. Click the Post Goods Issue button. The reported error will be displayed.

Cause

The system cannot create an Outbound Delivery (OD) for two different types of processes or sales orders. In this case, the issue arises when trying to merge a regular sales order and an intercompany sales order into one OD.

Resolution

The solution to this issue is to avoid merging different types of sales orders into one Outbound Delivery. In this case, regular sales orders and intercompany sales orders should not be combined into one OD. System is behaving as designed.
