Symptom
- To prevent accidental deletion of records in the Dependent details portlet, the delete access has been removed. However, employees can still delete records by accessing the History using the trash icon and saving the changes.
- Is it possible to restrict the permission to delete dependents using the trash icon?
Environment

Reproducing the Issue
- Log into SF instances.
- Proxy as employee and navigate to employee own profile.
- Ensure that employee do not have permissions to delete for Dependents Actions.
- Go to the History of dependent portlet and confirm that the delete button is not available to delete the record.
- Use the edit button to delete the dependent using the trash icon.
- Save the record.
- The data in the record will be deleted without the necessary delete permissions.
