3575480 - Candidate Merge not supported on New Workbench - Recruiting

Merged candidate application generates application error in new workbench: externalmessage=You do not have an Application Status Visibility.

Currently candidate merge is not supported on new Workbench. This issue has been acknowledged and is scheduled for resolution in the upcoming 2505 release.
