Symptom

What are the allowed file types, maximum file sizes, and the number of attachments that can be uploaded under the attachments tab in the Manage Customer Master Data app? 

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to 'Manage Customer Master Data' app
  2. Open the Business Partner
  3. Navigate to the attachments tab
  4. Required details about size, type and number of attachments

Resolution

  • File Types :
  1. Files: Any type of files with or without the document type. 
  2. Links: Stores links to external content accessible through a uniform resource locator (URL).

  • File Size : The maximum file size allowed is 100MB
  • Number of Attachments : There is no restriction on the number of attachments
