Symptom

Getting below error while creating new Groups in SAP JAM basic Edition

"Your company has reached the maximum number of groups allowed in your edition of Jam"

Environment

  • SuccessFactors HCM Suite
  • SAP JAM

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to JAM 
  2. Click the Group tab and select 'Create a Group'
  3. Error message is thrown: "Your company has reached the maximum number of groups allowed in your edition of Jam".

Resolution

  • In SAP JAM Basic Edition, the maximum number of groups allowed is 10.
  • The Advanced Edition has a higher limit, either 100 or 200 groups, depending on the specific plan.
  • If an error occurs during group creation, it indicates that the limit has been reached.
  • To create additional groups, it will be necessary to delete some of the older groups.
