3575817 - New custom Field is not showing in Define Formulas for Flexible Billing Document Numbering (SSCUI 103306)

Symptom

The new custom field has already been added to the parameter list and appears in Assign Formula Parameters, but it does not appear in Assign Parameter Priority in Define Formulas for Flexible Billing Document Numbering (SSCUI 103306).

Reproducing the Issue

1. Create a new field using 'Custom Logic'.
2. Create the BADI to populate the field at header
3. Define Custom Routines for Data Transfer to Billing Documents (SSCUI 102865).
4. Define Parameter Catalog for Flexible Billing Document Numbering (SSCUI 103305).
5. Define Formulas for Flexible Billing Document Numbering (SSCUI 103306).

Cause

Custom fields can be manually added in Assign Parameter Priority within Formula Tasks. However, when a decision table already contains data in the system, direct addition or deletion of priority fields in the custom field is not permitted.

Resolution

To address this, the contents of the decision table can be copied to a local system using Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V sequentially. After copying, the decision table should be deleted, followed by the addition of parameters to the priority. Once this step is completed, the decision table can be pasted back. It is important to carefully adjust the content in a local Excel file, ensuring that rows and columns are aligned correctly before pasting.

Alternatively, a new formula incorporating these new parameters can be created.
