when the "Master Data Maintenance" functionality is used in BW Modeling Tools or the transaction RSDMD from the backend:

a browser window is opened, which points to the web dynpro application "/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/rsdmdm_md_maintenance_app" instead of the Fiori Application "/sap/bc/ui2/flp?sap-language=XX&sap-client=XXX#BWInfoObject-maintainMaster":
