3576012 - <num-decimal-places>0 is still Displaying Decimals for Calculated Rating on Performance Form

Symptom

  • The calculated rating on the Performance form is displayed with decimal points, despite the configuration of <num-decimal-places>0</num-decimal-places> in the summary section.
  • The calculated rating is expected to be displayed as an integer, but it is shown as a number with the first decimal points (e.g., 4.0).

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Performance and Goals
  • SAP SuccessFactors 360 Multi-Rater

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Configure <num-decimal-places>0</num-decimal-places> in the summary section of the Performance form.
  2. Observe that the calculated rating is still displayed with at least one decimal point.

Cause

This is expected behavior.

Resolution

It is not possible to completely remove the display of decimals from a Calculated Rating.

A rating of 3/5 will still show up as 3.0/5.0, even if <num-decimal-places>0</num-decimal-places> is configured.
