3576182 - Unable to rebuild target group

You get the following Error message while trying to rebuild a target group:



"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."   

SAP Marketing Cloud Edition

1. Open a target group app on your SAP Marketing Cloud Tenant
2. Select the target group, then go to the contact  tab within the TG
3. Click on Rebuild, and you will get the error:
   "Action failed Error occurred while rebuilding target group"
   Message ID: CUAN_TG/011

The error comes because a validity check was introduced regarding user/owner authorization for rebuild actions in SMC 2502.

• The cause of the issue is that the owner of the target group no longer exist in the system.
• Change the owner or create new target groups to be used for campaigns.
