3576213 - "You do not have permission to edit the value" Error While Updating Historical Compensation Record

Error message 'You do not have permission to edit the value, please contact your system administrator' is displayed when attempting to edit compensation record via history.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Login into the EC system.
2. Search for an employee 
3. Navigate to Compensation Information and select a past-dated record 
4. Make a change (for example: update FTE) 
5. An error message is displayed stating 'You do not have permission to edit the value, please contact your system administrator'.

Root cause is currently under investigation. 

The solution of this issue is currently under investigation. Please follow this KBA for updates.

Workaround: disable the 'no-changes-until-date' field in BCUI > payComponentRecurring
