Symptom
When a manager’s details are updated in Employee Central (EC), the changes are not reflected in the User Data File (UDF) or Employee Profile (EP).
As a result, the organizational chart does not display the correct manager information.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
Reproducing the Issue

Log into the instance.

Navigate to the Employee Central (EC) section.

Compare the employee information in EC with the corresponding data in the User Data File (UDF).

Check the manager field in both EC and UDF.

Verify that the manager information in UDF is not updated, despite changes made in EC.
Cause
The issue occurs when data is not synchronized between Employee Central (EC), Employee Profile (EP), and the User Data File (UDF).
This behavior is typically caused by the HRIS Sync job not running or not completing successfully in the backend.
Resolution
If data is not synchronizing between Employee Central (EC), Employee Profile (EP), and the User Data File (UDF), verify the HRIS Sync configuration. Run the HRIS Sync job to ensure that employee information from EC is correctly populated into EP and UDF.
If the issue persists or the HRIS Sync job cannot be executed successfully, create a support case under component LOD-SF-EC-HRS for further investigation.
