3576787 - Error: External Time Data Not Created Due to Duplicate Entry

The external time data is not created, but the clock-in and clock-out entries are successfully paired. In Admin Alerts for the alert type 'Processing Paired Time Events for Time Sheet,' the error states: 'External time data CICO-abc is a duplicate of external time data CICO-def.'

SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking 

1. Import/Create multiple Clock In and Clock Out time events.
2. Clock-in and clock-out entries are successfully paired 
3. External time data is not created

This is a Known Error.

The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed with patch. There is no planned fix date yet. This KBA will be updated once the patch date is confirmed.

Workaround: If there is duplicate External Time Data then first delete the record by setting the flag to Yes. If there is no duplication, then just simply reprocess the alert message in Admin Alerts.
