3576883 - Suppier Approval Taks does not Appear in Approver's Inbox

You are set as the approver to a supplier creation operation.

When trying to access the approval activity through the Inbox view of the Home work center, the task does not appear.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Home work center.
2. Open the Inbox view.

Here, the expected task does not appear for approval.

The supplier approval process triggers a workflow rule only for the determined approvers configured in the system. The approval task by design is not sent to the approvers inbox.

The system works as expected.

The approver needs to access the approval task through the Approvals view of the Managing My Area work center.
