3576962 - New hire task can still be edited and submitted after completion - Onboarding

Symptom

  • Once a New Hire task is assigned to a new hire, they are able to submit the task multiple times, even if the status shows as completed.
  • Employee is able to edit and submit an already completed task.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Reproducing the Issue

  1. User completes and submits the new hire task.  
  2. The task is marked as completed.
  3. User can reopen the task, edit it, and submit it again.

Cause

This is a known issue.

Resolution

The engineering team has confirmed that this is expected behavior at the moment. Enhancement requests can be submitted following KBA 2090228.
