3577028 - The KUT Field Added to the ManageOpportunityIn Web Service are Not Displayed in the Payload Generated by the .WSDL File

When adding KUT fields created in the system to the .WSDL file of the ManageOpportunityIn web service, the Extension fields are not being displayed in the sample payload generated by the .WSDL file in the SOAP UI.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Application and User Management Work Center.
2. Go to the Service Explorer View.
3. Search for ManageOpportunityIn.
4. Select the second ManageOpportunityIn option.
5. Select Download WSDL button.
6. Open the file in SOAP UI.

The Extension field EDF will not be displayed in the sample payload generated by the .WSDL file in the SOAP UI. (where EDF represents the Technical Name of the Extension field)

The ManageOpportunityIn web service currently has two different URLs:

URL: https://myxxxx.sapbydesign.com/sap/bc/srt/scs/sap/manageopportunityin1
URL: https://myxxxx.sapbydesign.com/sap/bc/srt/scs/sap/manageopportunityin2

The ManageOpportunityIn with URL "https://myxxxx.sapbydesign.com/sap/bc/srt/scs/sap/manageopportunityin2" contains only the standard fields in the .WSDL file, while the ManageOpportunityIn" with URL "https://myxxxx.sapbydesign.com/sap/bc/srt/scs/sap/manageopportunityin1" contains all the Extension fields added to the ManageOpportunityIn web service.

Note: A similar behavior occurs for the QueryOpportunityIn Web Service

Currently there are two QueryOpportunityIn Web Services in the system, the QueryOpportunityIn with URL "https://myxxxx.sapbydesign.com/sap/bc/srt/scs/sap/queryopportunityin1" and the QueryOpportunityIn with URL "https://myxxxx.sapbydesign.com/sap/bc/srt/scs/sap/queryopportunityin".

The QueryOpportunityIn with URL "https://myxxxx.sapbydesign.com/sap/bc/srt/scs/sap/queryopportunityin1" will only display the standard fields in the Response Payload, while the QueryOpportunityIn with URL "https://myxxxx.sapbydesign.com/sap/bc/srt/scs/sap/queryopportunityin" will display all fields in the Response Payload (including the Extension field added to the Web Service QueryOpportunityIn).

Furthermore, it is important to note that the option to add Extension fields in the Request Payload of the Web Service QueryOpportunityIn is not available in the system. The Extension fields can only be added to be displayed in the QueryOpportunityIn Response Payload. 

In order to use the Extension fields in the ManageOpportunityIn web service, it is recommend to download the .WSDL file with URL "https://myxxxx.sapbydesign.com/sap/bc/srt/scs/sap/manageopportunityin1".
