Symptom
The date format for items, such as Posting Date, in the exported file with the ".xls" extension is fixed to MM/DD/YYYY. It is not possible to display the 'Japanese Date' format in the exported file, even after changing the "Date Format" setting to 'GYY-MM-DD(Japanese Date)' before exporting the data in the app 'Display G/L Account Balances - Summary/Journal Entry Views'.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition and above
Reproducing the Issue
- Fill in the fields and click Go in the app 'Display G/L Account Balances - Summary/Journal Entry Views'.
- Click Settings --> Language and Region ---> Date Format ---> GYY-MM-DD(Japanese Date).
- Click Export icon.
Resolution
This is the standard behavior in the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 2408 version, and the behavior has changed in the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 2502 version. The Posting Date/ Journal Entry date/ Value Date will displayed in "GYY-MM-DD(Japanese Date)" format in the exported file by clicking the Settings --> Language and Region ---> Date Format ---> GYY-MM-DD(Japanese Date).
