3577092 - User can Release the Time Recordings More Than Planned Hours for Project Task

In the Project Management work center, it is possible to record time exceeding the planned hours for a project task. No warning or error message is displayed when the recorded time exceeds the planned hours.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Project Management work center
2. Go to the Projects view
3. Select the relevant Project Task
4. Select the Project Plan and go to the Work tab
5. Record time for a team member that exceeds the planned hours

In the Project Settings tab, user has defined field Exceeds Planned Work to "No Approval Required". 

When user define No Approval Required for Exceeds Planned Work, this serves the purpose of the exceeded time recordings. The time recordings to be released in addition to the time recordings in status "Released" and "In Approval" that refer to the same work package exceed the planned work. When user create time recording for more than planned hours, system may show a warning message, however there is no hard stoppage for time recordings to log exceeded hours.
