3577297 - Cannot upload files to Manage Content Document section

Not possible to upload files in the Manage Content Documents section except docx or xlsx

SAP SALES CLOUD CPQ

1. Enter in setup
2. Under Quotes, go to Document Generation Templates
3. Open tab Manage Content Documents
4. Attempt to upload file that is not docx or xlsx extension type.

Since 2405 release, it is not possible to upload other file types, as Manage Content Document is dedicated section for parts of generated documents in SAP CPQ Quotes.

If you have any file types in Manage Content Document that differs from the above extensions, we suggest to move them to File Management part of CPQ.

If it is not possible doing it manually due to the amount of files, raise a CPQ Support Case mentioning the need to move the files.

• Application parameter "Allowed Content File Extensions" does not apply for Manage Content Documents, only for File Management.
