3577465 - SSO not working for Analysis for office Excel

Symptom

  • In Analysis client tool getting below error while trying to select the BW data source
  • Single Sign On failed. Log on manually
  • Logon attempt failed. Either the logon credentials are wrong or the user is locked, or the user account is not in valid date or the password is expired. Please check user account in backend system.
  • Event viewer log shows warning message: Time Provider NtpClient: No valid response has been received from manually configured peer time.windows.com,0x8 after 8 attempts to contact it. This peer will be discarded as a time source and NtpClient will attempt to discover a new peer with this DNS name. The error was: The peer is unreachable.
