3577632 - Project Stock Order cannot create a Goods and Activity Confirmation

Error when trying to consume the product project stock order, or there is a process communication error on the project stock order: Project Stock Order cannot create a Goods and Activity Confirmation.

The error for this process communication error is "Transaction date must be between XXXX and today".

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Project Management work center.
2. Go to Project Stock Order - Show by Documents view.
3. Open affected project stock order and navigate to Document Flow tab.
4. There is already a goods and activity confirmation created, however there is process communication error on the project stock order with the error "Transaction date must be between XXXX and today".

When consume the product on project stock order, there is attempt to post the goods and activity confirmation beyond 6 months in the past, however the posting period beyond 6 months for inventories is not extended in the system.

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center. 
2. Search for the relevant implementation project and choose the Edit Project Scope button. 
3. Navigate to the Scoping section and make sure that the option Inventory Posting is selected from the sub-element Inventory Management under the scoping element Manufacturing, Warehousing and Logistics.
4. Move to the Questions section and expand the scoping element Manufacturing, Warehousing and Logistics.
5. Under Inventory Management select Inventory Postings. 
6. Select the question Do you want to extend the posting period beyond 6 months?

Once the above question is selected and updated to the implementation project you will be able to make inventory postings beyond six months in the past.
