  • The group setting for oracle binary $ORACLE_HOME/bin/oracle changed from oinstall to asmadmin

    ls -ltr <ORACLE_HOME>/bin/oracle
    -rwsr-s--x 1 oracle oinstall 232272204 2012-05-13 02:36 <ORACLE_HOME>/bin/oracle

    After database startup, the group setting of the oracle binary is changed to the following:
    -rwsr-s--x 1 oracle asmadmin 232272204 2012-05-13 02:36 <ORACLE_HOME>/bin/oracle
