3577816 - Error saving Billing Data in "Plan Customer Projects" tile in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• An error message "You cannot save the billing data. Please contact support." is displayed when attempting to save changes in customer projects.
• The issue arises when multiple work packages are assigned to a Billing item at once in the "Plan Customer Projects" tile.
• The error persists even after ensuring that the USD to CAD conversion rates were maintained for the time range of the project.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the tile "Plan Customer Projects".
2. Open a specific project.
3. Navigate to the Billing tab.
4. Enter Edit mode.
5. On Billing item 1, add multiple assigned work packages.
6. Press the Save button.
7. Encounter the error message.

• When multiple work packages were assigned simultaneously to the project, the system rejected the changes due to validation constraints.
• Bulk additions may lead to system inconsistencies, causing errors such as “You cannot save the billing data. Please contact support.”

1. When adding work packages to a Billing item, add them individually rather than in bulk.
2. After each addition, save the changes before proceeding to the next work package.
3. This process ensures that the system can correctly validate and associate each work package with the relevant WBS element and sales order.
