3577822 - Error "Invalid Email Template" When Creating Autoflow

Symptom

Error "Invalid email template" while creating a new autoflow of email action. 

 "Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental." 

Environment

SAP Sales and Service Cloud V2

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Settings--> Autoflow.
  2. Click on + button.
  3. Choose an Entity (Ex: Account), Event Types (Ex: Create Account). 
  4. Maintain the autoflow conditions. 
  5. Click on Save and observe the error Invalid email template.

Cause

All mandatory fields required for the email action are not maintained. 

 

Resolution

Ensure all mandatory fields (email template, sender name & email, recipients) in the action are maintained.
